One of the things that 3PRC does is support practitioners in researching their Three Principles of Health Realization programming. While our support varies from feedback on questionnaires to actual data collection and analysis, our hope is to gain a better understanding of the changes and outcomes associated with 3P programming and potential best practices.
Our most recent venture was with The Ambassador Project, where we worked closely with Dr. Rani Bora, to design a questionnaire assessing the potential benefits to this community-based mentor program. The program itself is run by volunteers and all of the participants were invited to fill out questionnaires online - through an email invitation – before and after the training.
An important aim of the Ambassador Project is to stimulate participants to use the Three principles of Health Realization in their personal and professional lives. By doing so, the hope is to spread the beneficial effects to others. For this reason, the Questionnaire contained questions about the degree of active spreading of the Three Principles as well as: social control, satisfaction with life, and positive and negative emotions.
The results showed that after the courseparticipants did in fact share more with othersabout The Three Principles of Health Realization. These results suggest that the Ambassador program was successful in achieving its primary goal.

Participants also demonstrated a stronger sense of control after attending the program.
Emotions, negative and positive
While participants did not demonstrate changes in their satisfaction with life, the results did show that positive emotions remained unchanged, while negative emotions dwindled somewhat after the course. This response was more significant in the first group of participants who reported less negative emotions after the course than before while the second course’s participants’ emotions remained unchanged.
The Ambassador program appears to be successful in promoting participants to spread the teachings of the Three principles of Health Realization. The participants also reported a stronger sense of control and less negative emotions after the course.
These results should be treated with some caution. Primarily because only 21 participants filled out questionnaires both before and after the course. In addition, the results from the two groups that followed the program appear to differ; the results seem to be stronger among participants from the first group than among participants from the second group. With such a small size of initial participants, it would take more research to uncover a fully accurate depiction of the outcomes.
